High School Social Studies
I worked with a team of 10 high social studies teachers to create a comprehensive M-Step Review course that included
- tutorials and video overviews
- quiz questions correlated to specific standards
- completion tracking to help keep students on track to complete the entire set of modules
I have also kept in regular contact with members of the team to support the implementation. I conducted building department meetings to help teachers get started. And I have helped facilitate the conversation geared toward making improvements for the upcoming year.

"My Learning Plan" on Mahara
I worked with teachers in the following schools to help students go digital with My Learning Plan using the district's supported ePortfolio platform, Mahara.
- Unis Middle School
- Fordson High School
- Bryant Middle School
During this process, I helped administrators assemble focus teams, conducted meetings with teams to establish goals and processes, met with teachers individually to help them understand the user interface and develop plans to get students started, and modeled lessons for teachers over the course of weeks of implementation.
Woodworth Middle School

- Writing assignments with digital rubrics
- Writing Workshop digital modules for effective peer- and self-assessment
- Worked with resource teachers to help create NWEA and M-Step Reading review courses using Moodle.

I then worked with middle school social studies teachers across the district to help them get started and gather data on student progress in the course.
