I began putting students first as a science teacher in the Dearborn Schools in August of 2000. Since that time, I have continued to serve students and members of the community in many capacities as an educator, leader, and in support of classroom teachers and administrators. I have demonstrated my ability to work effectively with students of many age levels, proficiency levels, and backgrounds throughout my career. I have also shown myself to be highly effective at working with adults in the district in establishing and achieving their goals for the sake of the students in their school, classroom, or other environments. I will never waiver in my determination to serve students in the most effective ways possible so long as I remain a Dearborn Schools employee.

• Collaborated with the Career Academies Team at Fordson to coordinate Career Speaker days

• Facilitated professional development for teachers at all levels using a variety of media, including live streaming, videoconferencing, YouTube videos, documents, blog posts, websites, and Moodle

• Worked with elementary and secondary teachers of EL students to create accessible digital learning materials and accommodate EL students and parents

• Adapted strategies to meet the needs of teachers according to technology-readiness and student goals
• Facilitated one-on-one, small group cohorts, and larger group professional development sessions geared toward increasing the level of technology integration in elementary and secondary classrooms according to the SAMR Model
