The classrooms found inside here are an extension of the brick and mortar schools. Teachers can engage students with challenging exercises, skill building tools, and supplemental materials to extend the learning happening in class. iLearn is collaborative. Teachers are encouraged to share activities, resources, and quizzes. Our Dearborn Tech coaches hold workshops to train and help teachers build common assessments and practice exams to boost student scores and understanding of material.
Moodle is built by a global team of experts and enthusiasts from all walks of life. Moodle is the global learning platform that is available free of charge with an emphasis on social constructionist pedagogy. In Dearborn, we call Moodle iLearn and that name has stuck. We took Moodle and added in a whole bunch of other useful tools for teachers such as portfolios, communications, and even digital book authoring tools.
